1. About this service

LandlordLedger is record-keeping software for UK landlords. It helps you track rental income and expenses, store receipts, and prepare reports for your accountant or self-assessment tax return. It does not file your tax return, provide live bank feeds, or submit data directly to HMRC.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Subscriptions and billing

The new monthly plan is an ongoing £8.99/month with no free trial, launch-place limit or scheduled price increase. Live billing is currently paused while Stripe sandbox testing is completed; sandbox payments do not charge real money. When live billing is enabled, payment is due at checkout and monthly thereafter until cancellation. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the verified paid billing period, and access does not extend beyond that period without a verified renewal payment. Existing Base44 Payments agreements retain their original agreed price, trial and duration terms; this new plan does not change or replace those agreements.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: misuse the service, upload unlawful content, attempt to access other users' data, or use the service for any illegal purpose. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

5. Your data

You own the data you enter. You can export it at any time via CSV. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle it.

6. No tax advice

LandlordLedger is a record-keeping tool, not a tax advisor. Tax categories and reports are provided to help you organise your records, but you are responsible for verifying their accuracy and for any tax filings you make. Always consult a qualified accountant for tax advice.

7. Service changes

We may update or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We will not reduce your subscription entitlement during a paid billing period.

8. Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LandlordLedger is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the service.
